A very tropical wedding at the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale – Cheryl and AJ’s Big Day!

Domino Arts Wedding Photography

Total tropical bliss. Those would be the words to describe Cheryl and AJ’s wedding at the Bahia Mar in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We were particularly excited for this wedding because these two were no strangers to us as Cheryl’s mother, Terri, was a part of our team here at Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography. So when Terri approached us, we knew we just had to be part of this special as they are an extension to our family.

Let us start by announcing that this was not your typical wedding. The behind the scenes were just as exciting as the actual wedding ceremony and reception were. Cheryl and her six bridesmaids were all about the preparation for her special day but still keeping the atmosphere fun while drinking out of their humorous champagne glasses. Meanwhile, the groom and his men were outside dancing and drinking beers. It was all about enjoying each other’s company which allowed us to capture authentic moments.

When to book a Wedding Photographer

When to book a Wedding Photographer by DominoArts Photography and Cinematography -

Once you know your wedding date, and you have chosen the venue, you need to book your wedding photographer. Most of our wedding couples book us as far as a year, to a year and a half in advance.

And when you choose your professional wedding photographer, you should bear in mind that there are photographers who will make a lower end wedding venue look like you broke the bank! By the same token, there are also those who could make a high end wedding look very cheap.

Your wedding pictures and video are meant to last forever as a wedding memory, making this decision one of the most important to be made by many couples. This is the reason why you need to start looking for YOUR photographer as soon as possible. You want to make sure you have enough time to do your research and make a decision, but won’t lose the artist you really want because they were booked by someone else. (more…)

“I Do” at the Boca Raton Resort & Club – The Wedding of Jasmine and Andy

Miami, Florida Wedding Photography by DominoArts -

Jasmine and her bridesmaids began the day getting ready at the Boca Raton Resort & Club, everyone was excited and ready to go! Jasmine looked completely stunning. From her long and flowing ruched wedding dress by Allure and her Jimmy Choo shoes, with their hidden message “I Do” written in crystals, to her flawless makeup, this bride was beautiful, calm and relaxed, but definitely looking forward to her day. A beautiful bride, and a beautiful day, which allowed our team to take many beautiful Boca Raton wedding pictures.

The bridesmaids performed double duty, they had devised a plan for the groom to go on a scavenger hunt. Using clues about the bride, each progressive clue bringing him closer to finding her for their first meeting. They even blind folded him to make sure that he did not accidentally see the bride too soon. When he finally “found” her, his smile beamed, this was obviously a couple in love, and so very much ready to be married.

Miami Wedding Pictures by DominoArts Photography

It started raining, which is supposed to be good luck on your wedding day! South Florida in April, the perfect day, the perfect time, and at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six, the perfect place to get some perfect Fort Lauderdale wedding photographs.

The bride, Lani, was excited, anxious to get ready and get everything started! She looked absolutely beautiful. When her bridesmaids carefully laced her into the exquisite satin and lace Alfred Angelo dress, and helped her step into her sexy indigo purple Mojo Moxy shoes, she was stunning. Her bridesmaids were all extremely helpful, always willing to help our team get the best possible poses for many memorable wedding pictures.

The ceremony was held inside surrounded by glass windows where you could see the amazing sunset that was peeking through the clouds and shining on them. The aisle beautifully decorated by bouquets of purple pansies and white hydrangea, dripping with crystals, as well as tall vases with floating candles and purple orchids suspended inside. The wedding aisle an artistic creation of black with white rose petals elegantly patterned on top, just waiting for the bride to walk over. And the alter provided a beautiful backdrop, created of a shower of crystals and blooms that continued the theme of purple and white flowers throughout.

Beautiful wedding setting of the Morikami Museum, Miami – Vlad Miscovic and Maela

South Florida wedding pictures that leave you speechless – Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography

Golden skies and perfect weather adorned the day for Maela and Vlad’s scenic South Florida wedding. Surrounded by water and its astonishing Japanese garden, the breath taking location was a perfect fit for wedding photos at the Morikami Museum in Boca Raton, Florida.

Candle light led the path which the gorgeous bride would be walking to meet her groom. Vlad looking handsome as ever in his tuxedo waited anxiously for his bride-to-be with his groomsmen by his side. As the ceremony started, the smiling bridesmaids entered the striking out door wedding ceremony. All dressed in a lovely one shoulder purple gown, they couldn’t contain they’re excitement as they led the way for bride holding delicate bouquets of purple and ivory flowers. Vlad was beaming as he saw Maela for the first time, he couldn’t take his eyes of her. Her long dark hair swayed in the wind as she walked down the aisle in her mermaid style wedding dress. The moment had come, as they both stood there gazing into each other’s eyes, it was evident how much they truly loved one another. It was the perfect recipe for our team at Domino Arts to photograph this wedding at the Morikami Museum. The romantic ceremony was nothing short than perfect as the couple spoke their vows and an occasional joke to keep their guest on their toes.

Miami wedding images that leave you speechless by Domino Arts Photography -

The beautiful bride checked her flawless makeup and stunning gown one last time before following the petals the flower girls left her as a guide, tracing her steps down the aisle to her handsome husband to be. On March 9th, Kendra Galan and David Moreno held their wedding in the Ancient Spanish Monastery, a magnificent setting for Miami wedding photographers to capture the ceremony.

Kendra was a vision in a creped gown with a draping train and sleeveless sweetheart neckline, her bridal party a subtle and elegant compliment to her beauty in creamy off-white gowns. The bride, carried a beautiful crystal accented bouquet of white roses, walked to meet her soon-to-be husband in his striking military uniform, who waited for her at the altar of the Monastery with Fr. Our team, the Miami wedding photographers, the bride selected for her momentous day, took advantage of the splendid surroundings and striking architecture to capture the beauty of the bride, groom, and wedding party throughout the Monastery.

Beautiful South Florida wedding day at the majestic Turnberry Isle in Aventura – Diane and Mark’s extraordinary day

Miami wedding images that leave you speechless - Domino Arts Photography

With unbridled excitement and anticipation, the bride peeks outside once more to be reassured of a beautiful South Florida day at the majestic Turnberry Isle in Aventura. Her makeup and hair, by Terry at Wave Salon, were without flaw, the jewelry understated, her gown, simply elegant. She was ready to go and eager to get the day started. It was Diane and Mark’s Wedding Day.

Diane is the last in her family to wed, and Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography were the first call she made after Mark proposed. She knew exactly what she wanted from her Miami wedding photographers. “I want you to feel the love, because when you do, it shows in your photographs.” – Diane said.

The wedding ceremony was held at Aventura Turnberry Jewish Center where Steve Pollack worked hard with Raffi Grosz of Petal Productions of Miami to decorate the synagogue with style and elegance. He and his team set an exquisite stage allowing for truly beautiful wedding photographs to be taken at this classically traditional wedding. The magnificent flower and tulle draped wedding Chuppah provided the perfect setting for Diane and Mark to take their vows and become the couple that so obviously belonged together.

Raffi of Petal Productions also hand-crafted the very fragrant and stunning white rose bouquet that Diane carried. Every rose in this creation held a pearl dew drop and scattered between each bloom was a pearl “rosebud”.

A wedding to be remembered at Hawks Landing Club – Zeev and Jessica’s Day!

South Florida Wedding Photography by Domino Arts (

The hotel room at the Renaissance Hotel was filled with activity as Jessica sat in her chair, Nancy Rand of Touch Cosmetics artfully applying her makeup. “From the moment Jessica and I spoke over the phone there was a special connection. Jessica was referred by very special clients. I was their wedding makeup artist over a decade ago and they insisted she contact me. It was all up from there. It was such a fun day making up her 9 year old daughter, Mom, Mother in law and of course my bride Jessica. I am most excited to be working with Jessica and her family once again for her Sister’s wedding in 2014. Having such wonderful clients makes me love my work even more” said Nancy Rand of Touch Cosmetics. Samantha, Jessica’s daughter, was excited and smiling as she watched her mother get ready. The team at Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography knew immediately that the Florida wedding photographs that were going to be captured that day were going to be unique wedding pictures.

Zeev waited downstairs in the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel for Jessica, his anticipation palpable. He was relaxed, but excited as he and his son, Roy, laughed and posed for their Florida wedding photographs together.

Jessica’s smile sparkled as she crept up behind Zeev to see him for the first time on their wedding day. The moment of that first look for them both was emotionally charged. Zeev was speechless as he beheld his beautiful bride.

February 17, 2013 dawned an amazing, crisp day for Florida Wedding photography to take place. Kim and Norman tied themselves to each other in a beautiful wedding ceremony that took place at Broken Sound Country Club in Boca Raton, Florida. Guests and family were gathered together, some even holding their invitations created by Petite Acorn. Lorant Botha was the coordinator for this amazing South Florida wedding. Kim was tranquil, and yet excited to finally be getting married to Norman. Her wedding dress by Pronovias was a simply stunning, strapless gown with layers of delicate lace that flowed behind her. With her hair and makeup artfully done by Carlos Astiazarain, Kim was a vision to behold. The team at Domino Arts Photography and Cinematography worked quickly to capture creative Florida wedding photography of Kim in her fairy tale wedding dress.

Completing Kim’s look was her bridal jewelry that Helen Setton from Oakwood Jewelers assisted them with. Bracelets given to Kim by her mother adorned her wrist to compliment the diamonds she already wore. The engagement rings and wedding bands by Mike and Nosh of Artistic Jewelers were elegant and tasteful.

Svetlana was simply stunning in a beautiful wedding gown and Manolo Blahnik heels with Swarovski crystals. “Lana was one of the sweetest brides I’ve had the opportunity of working with” says Nicole Hochman of Bridal Couture of Boca Raton. “It was a pleasure helping her find her wedding gown and she truly shined in her beautiful ruffle bridal gown by Allure Bridals.”
